Summary
Super Linkomanija doesn't collect, sell or share any personal data. It has no analytics, no tracking and no servers of its own.
What it stores
The extension saves the following in your browser's extension storage:
- which features are switched on or off, and the chosen release list view
- the popup's language
- your history: the last 25 viewed, downloaded and commented releases per group, each with its ID, title and category image address
- for the release notifier: your search terms and keywords, the releases you rejected, and the found releases with the time of the last check
- for auto login: Linkomanija's "remember me" login cookie and the time you last logged out
If you use your browser's sync, the browser can sync this data between your own devices through your browser account. Found releases are kept on each device only. Nothing is ever sent to the developer.
The login cookie gives access to your Linkomanija account, like a password. It stays saved until you log out through the website or switch auto login off. Logging out doesn't make an already copied cookie invalid, only changing your Linkomanija password does.
Network requests
The extension only talks to Linkomanija.net. On your behalf and with your existing login it loads release pages for previews and related releases, and adds or removes bookmarks when you click them. When the release notifier is on, it also searches Linkomanija for your watched releases when the browser starts, every 6 hours and when you ask. Smileys in the comment editor load from Linkomanija's own image server. No other websites are contacted.
When you uninstall the extension, the browser opens this website. No data is sent with it.
Permissions
- Access to linkomanija.net: to add the features to the site's pages and to search for watched releases
- Storage: to save your settings, history, watched releases and login
- Tabs: to show the toolbar icon as active on Linkomanija.net, and to apply setting changes to open Linkomanija tabs straight away
- Alarms: to check watched releases every 6 hours
- Notifications (optional): only asked for when you switch on system notifications for the release notifier
Removing your data
Switching auto login off deletes the saved login cookie. Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored.
